The Great Pyramid is in Egypt. the Great Pyramid is the oldest of the 7 wonders of the Ancient world.Originally, the Great Pyramid was covered by casing stones that once covered the structure the stones can still be seen around the base. You can go inside the pyramid there are 3 known chambers inside
the pyramid. The lowest chambear is cut into the bedrock upon which the pyramid was almost built but unfinished it costs alot of money to go in the pyramid.
Thanks for the information on the Giza Pyramid. I did not know that the chambers were something that you could actually go in as a tourist.

I find the pyramids fascinating. Did you know that they were built for the purpose of burying kings and priests and other high government officials with the belief that the sacred burial and the funeral rites associated with it would permit the dead person to be resurrected and live with the highest Egyptian God?
